Compact fluorescent are underrated lighting. This is a good set up at a great price. This will be a great light for most reef tanks 2 ft in size. 130 watts of light is powerful lighting for a tank of that size and would be a good, economical choice in lighting for just about anyone. I had this unit myself and thought it to be a good light.
