I use the Ushio 250 watt 10K with T5 actinics and find it to give me great coral growth. By itself - it is too yellow - but when you have actinics on with it, it balances it out. I like this bulb.

I really like the color,bright, relaxing and the corals seems to be very happy. Its a very natural blue, compare to my old bulbs the Giesemann MegaChrome 14500K, too much yellow, seems like someone pee in the water. Yes Iam happy with it!
