They say first impressions are everything. What a disappointment. The unit is well built. I am pleased with the size and overall design. The problem I encountered was the bulb not firing completely upon start-up. Aquacave has been outstanding with their customer service and immediately addressed the issue when I called. Thanks for that! Speaking with Aquamedic it was determined that it is a bulb issue and not a ballast fault. Now I wait for a replacement…
I am sure I am one of the rare few that this has happened to and anyone else would have no problems what so ever. However, if I had to do it all over again, I would have just paid the extra money and purchased the Aqua Ultraviolet 57w. I have never had a problem with one of those units.
