I bought these lights to augment my 2 x 250W 15k MH lights - actually put out brighter light than my MHs... only had them "on" for 1 week and all my colors have shown "deeper" colors than I had with just the MHs... They were easy to install; my only "beef" is that there was not enough wiring to have a T5 on either side of my MHs so I had to go out and buy some - but its relatively cheap...$5
