AquaC has finished development of the Remora - the most radical design in skimming to date! Using the same patent pending spray-induction system as their acclaimed in-sump skimmers, AquaC`s Remora is simply the best hang-on available today.
The Remora is rated up to 75 gallons and requires a scant 2.75" clearance from the back of the tank.
That is slim! You`ll appreciate its low profile, only 6" of vertical clearance is required.
Standard equipment include a Maxi-Jet 1200 water pump, adjustable collection cup, and a special baffle system which prevents any bubbles from entering the aquarium.

This product is very well constructed item. The amount of protein and waste that it collects is unbelievable. The instructions state that the noise will go away in a few days of operations, this is true. The Max 1200 pump seem to the source of the noise, by transferring the vibrations to the protein skimmer. I had to remove the o-ring from the propeller housing to reduce the noise for a few days, then I reinstalled the o-ring with no new noise to report. This is a great product that really does what it is designed to do. Jack

This skimmer is awesome! I have it on the back of my 24 gallon nano jbj tank with no cover on the tank. I was using the Current nano skimmer (inside the tank) which needed constant adjusting everyday & the skimmer cup would always overflow. I have also used the Seaclone skimmer which worked good for me but needed adjusting of the air intake as well. The Remora is worth the money - I hooked it up in less than 5 minutes and it started producing a nasty froth in 48 hours and hasn't stopped. It needs no adjusting...its a great product and well built. Look no further for a skimmer...
