AquaMedic Controllers
- mV Computer by AquaMedic : ORP (Oxygen Reduction Potential) is not an easy water quality parameter to fully understand. Fortunately you need to know little more than that it is measured in mV and that it will be the measure by which we switch Ozone Generators and the pumps that regulate Nitratereductors.
The Aqua MedicmV Controllers and mV Computers are outstanding instruments to accurately monitor milli-volts and switch a powered outlet in order to achieve the set potential.
The mV Computer is a microprocessor run mV monitor and controller that provides high precision measurement and control.
The waterproof proof front panel includes soft touch keys to set the operating values and to calibrate the electrode. The switching bandwidth (hysteresis) is adjustable over a wide range to define the amount of mV drift allowed before switching. With the mV Computer you can set the control direction up or down, in low mode the controller can activate an Ozone Generator to boost skimmer production and to maintain an appropriately high system redox-potential, to control the flow rate through a Nitratereductor to retain anoxic conditions ideal for denitrification.
The high mode function allows for reducing additions.
The Aqua Medic mV Computer includes an electrode (78005, High Pressure, Threaded), and a complete set of calibration fluids.
- mV Controller by AquaMedic (DICSONTINUED): The mV Controller is designed for monitoring and controlling the redox-potential (or ORP, oxidation-reduction-potential) in aquaria.
The unit has a broad controlling range from a -500 to a +500 mV and a measuring range from -1000 to +1000 mV. It can be used to control the supply of ozone in salt water aquaria and/or for the control of the nitrate removal in anaerobic biological filters (Aqua Medic Nitratereductor).
The unit is supplied with a BNC connection for the mV probe. The use of an original Aqua Medic plastic shafted electrode is recommended.

- pH Computer by AquaMedic : In today’s advanced aquarium hobby we have access to some wonderful tools meant to automate and regulate some complex aspects of our water chemistry.
Two such tools are CO2 Reactors to maintain optimum pH values and to source the precious carbon dioxide for proper live plant respiration and Calcium reactors where CO2 gas is used to drop the pH inside the reaction chamber in order to dissolve the Hydro carbonate media.
A critical aspect common to both of these tools is that the amount of CO2 dosed is determined by the desired pH. The use of an M-Ventil solenoid valve, plugged into a pH Computer, allows the CO2 input to be switched on and off automatically to achieve the desired pH value.

The Aqua Medic pH Computer includes an electrode (AM78006, high pressure, threaded) and a complete set of calibration fluids.
Calibration is easier too, simply submerge the electrode in the calibration solution and push the corresponding CAL button. The pH Computer automatically calibrates itself to the solution.
- pH Controller by AquaMedic (DISCONTINUED) : AquaMedic's pH controller is a precision instrument to control the pH value in aquaria. In combination with a CO2 system and a solenoid valve, the pH can be maintained at a constant level, and the CO2 supply to aquatic plants or into a Calcium Reactor can be controlled.
The unit is supplied with a large LED display and the control range is digitally adjustable from pH 3.5 to 10.5.
The pH controller has a BNC connection for pH electrodes. The use of an original Aqua Medic plastic shafted electrode is recommended.
