I was using a ball valve from Home Depot that was designed for water on my skimmer air inlet, it was so hard to turn it made dialing the skimmer in difficult. This valve took care of that, now my skimmer is easy to get "dialed in"!

Nice valve. Totally non-restrictive when open. Hose barb is very secure making it very difficult to remove a hose once attached.
