I have this overflow box paired with mag 12 pump(rated for 1200gph)initially & seems like it was way too much flow for the overflow box to handle. it had a lot of gurgling no matter how i adjust the vent tube. after i switched to a mag 9.5 (950gph), overflow box was able to quiet down significantly.

This is a good product for what it is. It handles what it is supposed to handle. I run a Mag24 through mine with no problem. The only drawback is having to use an airlift pump continuously to keep it running.
