ok i agree with the cord being short its about 10inches shorter than my seio 1100 it replaced. im disappointed because it does put out more power than my old 1100 but i dont think its quite 3000. but the thing that makes this almost a no go is the pivoting ball mount doesnt hold the powerhead up. ive tried for hours and it just ruines my dsb. it will point down, fall down, shoot down you choose your phrase. that being sad power means nothing if you cant really direct it. if you need something cheap and fast go for it. if you want something good, i suggest look elsewhere

Its a great product. oh, that the power cord is a little short. You can go to home depot to lengthen the cord. Moves a lot of water. I use it on my 180 gal tank controlled by my Neptune controller.
