If you have a tall aquarium (over 24"), you may want to choose another thermometer. Its wire is not long enough to go from the back middle of the aquarium to the front face of the aquarium. It tells temperature great.

Works great. My only critique is that the wire does not have a good way to secure it to the glass inside the aquarium. One suction cup on a 39 inch wire.
