Replicating the dynamic natural qualities of sun and moon lighting, the TrueLumen LED strips combine the life-sustaining wavelengths of light with the efficiency of LED technology into a low profile, sleek lighting system. The powerful LED chips add the natural shimmering effect and rippling glow found on natural coral reefs while producing virtually no heat and consuming very little electricity.
TrueLumen LED strips are available in 3 color spectrum combinations - 12,000k Daylight, 453nm Actinic, or a 12,000k/Actinic combination.

An easy to install lighting solution, each LED strip is completely water resistant and will add vibrancy and movement to almost any aquarium. Their low profile design (only 5mm thick) make them an excellent addition to any nano-style aquarium, canopy or light fixture. All systems feature high-output Power LED chips mounted on a flexible, water resistant strip which can be installed using the strip adhesive or mounting screws (both included.)
Each strip measures 10" x 0.5" wide. Up to 3 strips can be connected to one transformer using our 3-way splitter (transformer and 3-way splitter sold separately.)

The 4 bulbs are too spaced apart so theres too much shimmering for my display tank. So, I moved it to my hangon refugium canopy where it fits perfectly. Plus, when I added up the cost of 4 10 inch LED strips, 2 splitters, and 2 power supplies, it would costs less to buy the brighter TrueLumen Pro LED. For the display tank, instead, I recommend the Current Usa 36" TrueLumen Pro LED Strip Light which shows colors of my fish that Ive never seen anywhere! Looks as if someone painted my fish so they now look so vibrant (My video camera makes it bluer than it really is.) The blue hippo tang now has a gorgeous deep fluorescent blue color. I see colors on the emperor that I didn't really see before. My tank is 4 foot long so I got the 3 foot TrueLumen Pro LED which fits inside the existing 3 foot fluorescent box.
