Bought this skimmer to replace an ASM G2 and I was blown away. The G2 would hardly pull anything out of my tank, whereas this skimmer is crazy good. I have to empty the cup every 2-3 days. The only con is the lack of a drain hole in the cup, however I could drill it if I wanted too... personally I just empty it and clean the cup every couple of days to keep it humming along. It is extremly quiet compared to the G2... I thought it wasnt working at first when I turned it on because I didnt hear it come on.
