using this in a 125 gal tank works well and maintains a constant temp within one degree. only dislike is no mounting of any type.

Ive got a 200 Gallon Oceanic, 7 foot long, 24 x 24 full of dicus.... had 2 Jagers 250w heaters in it... during winter months always had trouble keeping temp over 80. My Discus like 86 !! I bought the 500w Finnex, install was a breeze and VIOLLA..... 86 degrees within a couple hours. PERFECT !! The same night After the new heater install....my Blue Diamond spawned in the community tank !!

I bought this as a replacement for my Aqua Medic heater. I am using it with the Aqua Medic controller and it is working well.
The quality of the heater seems to be excellent and it is doing its job.
My only criticism is that it comes with no mounting hardware, suction cups, or similar.
