I've been an avid aquariust for ten years and have gotten used to the noise from the vibrations made from my store bought air pumps. Now that I've tried the Q2 I can't hear anything except the bubbles! Not to mention it looks pretty cool too and the circular switch on top for leveling. TWO THUMBS UP!!
