I bought this as a replacement for my Atinics. The light is nowhere near as blue. It has a lot of white in it. If you're looking for a light to supplement your MHs get another light. If you're looking to add a different spectrum to a t5 hood then light light could be useful.

I use Giesemann bulbs on all of my SPS tanks and have been very impressed with how my corals have been coloring up after I replaced my metal halides with the T5s. Highly recommended.
