I use this bulb in a combo-hood w/ 2-250W 14K MH & 4-T5s. I put 2 Acinic+ with 2 True Actinic in the T5 slots. They really bring out the iridescence in the corals and especially in the clams. My clam now lights up as if it were under a black light. Really cool looking. The bulb lights up like a pinkish purple color but gives off blue tones. If you want (Blue Color) in your tank, you got it!
