I use sponge filters on my QT tank. I was in a hurry a while back and had to buy one that was too small for the job, so this is the replacement. These are easy to use, but because I don't like to clean a filter every week my main filter is an Eheim canister. However, I know people that use these as their main filter and they just are a neat little filter.

Excellent!!! A must buy for all!! Works better than an expensive filter, and keeps all my tanks crystal clear, and clean!!

I bought two of these to help out in my 37g and 29g tanks and they are great. They really help with my ammonia/nitrite levels.

had running in 75 for a couple weeks to get the bacteria built up put the filter in a 10 and the tank was good to go!
