Ocean Clear 318 Canister Filter

Ocean Clear modular filters allow you to mix and match in order to get just the right combination of filtering for you needs.
This system works with freshwater or saltwater aquariums or ponds and each unit is rated for aquariums or ponds up to 500 gallons.
Multiple units can be hooked together to accommodate any size aquarium or pond. The 318 uses 205 sq ft of 50 micron polystrand filter pads. The top and bottom pads have smooth edges and the center ones have notched edges.
A mechanical unit, such as the Ocean clear 317, 325 or 340, should be used in line prior to this unit.
Use an external pump with a flow rate of 500-1600 gph. The manufacturer recommends using a pump at the higher end gph, especially if using more than one unit in tandom. Inlet and outlet size is 3/4".
