Description 

Reef Octopus DIABLO XS 160 Protein Skimmer.

The Diablo 160 XS skimmer is powered by the high performance Italian Sicce PSK-600 pinwheel pump. The skimmer comes equipped with a gate valve output to allow for precision control.

The Sicce PSK600 pump has an improved star wheel impeller. The new PSK-600 are much more advanced than the previous PSK 2500 pump.

Now with a digital circuit to control start up direction and speed, ultra low noise and huge air draw numbers, this pump is ready to perform with no modifications needed.

The skimmers pump produces on average 23scfh of air pull using the provided pinwheel impeller. (Air results will vary depending on aquarium setup)

Each Sicce pump draws less than 30watts of electricity. The collection cup has a quick release neck for easy removal for cleaning. It requires 1/2 inch of clearance to remove the cup. The Diablo XS skimmer uses metric plumbing parts.

all i can say is buy buy buy this skimmer if you truly want all that gunk outta your water ! within 24 hours i had thick dry dark green skimate collecting ! ... really happy i bought this product

I was looking to upgrade my skimmer for some time and did a lot of research. Everything kept coming back to the Reef Octopus Extreme SX 160. The skimmer I replaced just didn't seem to have enough bubbles in my opinion. After receiving the ROE 160, I was blown away at the quality of workmanship on th skimmer. Though there wasn't much in the way of instructions, it is extremely easy to set up. After installing the skimmer, I was amazed! The about of bubbles and how quickly it started to pull gunk was just incredible. If your looking for your fist skimmer or an upgrade, I haven't seen a better skimmer. Worth every penny!!!
