I have 2 Marlin's in my basement under my 90 gal sump. one feeds my reactors and 36 watt UV sterilizer while still returning about 1000gph to my 150 gal tank threw my 3/4"scwd. The other only feeds my close loop and passes threw my 1"scwd.
Great pump, just place it and fasten it on a piece of 1/2" rubber matt.

I have this pump in my basement and it easily handles the flow I want to my tank as well as the chiller and skimmer. One small issue I had is that due to its design the front part of the pump needs to hang off the edge of a table or you would need a small mounting block.
