This heater is one of the most accurate heaters I have ever bought.I have it in a 65 gal. freshwater aquarium and it is working great.

I put this heater in my 55 gal aquarium. I like the fact that it has the plastic protector over the glass tube, as I have fish in my aquarium that like to rearrange things, and have had the previous 2 heaters broken. Also the black tube makes it blend in and can be easily hidden behind a large plant. I used the suction cups, which work great, and so it hasn't been moved once. Its a super heater, and works great. I keep my temp at about 78 degrees. And I got to say the temp stays 78 degrees plus or minus a couple degrees. I highly recommend this heater, Also I like the fact it has a 5 yr warranty.

THIS HEATER IS GREAT! I BOUGHT IT FOR MY 55 GALLON. IT KEEPS MY WATER AROUND 87 DEGREES. DURING THE DAY IT WILL DROP DOWN TO 85, AND AT NIGHT WILL GO AROUND 89 DEGREES. THE HEATER CAN ONLY GO UP TO 89 DEGREES. THAT IS THE MAX TEMPERATURE THIS HEATER CAN BE SET AT. OVERALL THIS HEATER, HAS BEEN WONDERFUL, AND IS WORTH EVERY PENNY.
