This skimmer is the best buy for the money hands down! After the initial install and of course the minor tweaking needed with any skimmer, this product produced the nastiest dark green foul smelling waste I have ever seen. I did have to call Aquacave for some advice during the install process, ended up having to raise the skimmer an inch more out of the water by use of a piece of Styrofoam included in the box it came in. This was because the skimmer wanted to fill the collection cup in under two minutes with really wet foam. The one inch trick worked awesome! If you have to have a HOB skimmer, this one would be the one to purchase... you wont be disappointed.
