INSTALLS IN MINUTES, PRODUCES 0 TDS WATER IN SECONDS. NO LEAKS, GREAT 1/1 EFFICIENTCY! SELF FLUSHING FOR LONGER MEMBRANE LIFE, SAVE MONEY AND TIME! ALBERT WAS VERY HELPFUL WITH TECHNICAL SUPPORT, AS UNIT DOES COME WITH SEVERAL FAUCET ADAPTERS, BUT NOT ONE THAT FIT MY SINK. JUST USED MY OLD HOSE ADAPTER. GREAT GERMAN DESIGN, AND PUMP IS ULTRA SILENT GETTING 100 PSI.

Recieved my RO/DI system in great packaging! Put it together and is now making pure water. I really liked the fact that the system came with drain and source water hookups and that the water gets completely turned off once you have reached the full limit on your holding tank. Right now the pressure is at 100psi. All gauges are easy to read. If your in the market for an awesome RO/DI system that is well worth your money than this unit is the one for you. Thanks Aquacave for offering this product.

First, my critiques, then my praise: The bad. Vertex reps, if you're reading, PLEASE improve your written directions! They are slim and vague at best. For those of you who will be purchasing this worthy product, keep this in mind when setting up: where the sticker on the left side indicates that you have to run a connection, "to faucet," let me translate. It means purified water out-line to your bucket or tank or refugium.
Once I switched lines and the pump kicked in, I was in a new world where water changes were no longer a hassle which had to be preplanned and prepped the night before. This filter kicked out water so fast and so smoothly that a 20% change and all the accompanying maintenance took me a few hours instead of a full weekend day.
Its a worthwhile investment to those who rely on RO/DI water. I would give it 5 stars if it had better directions :)

Nice product. 1 to 1 water to waste ratio looks to be correct. Only concern was that the pump ran the system at 100 psi the first night, but only at 50 psi the second day. Im not sure why, but the flow rate seemed to be similar each day. Otherwise, very nice system with no leaks. TDS meter read 50 for my existing water, and 0 after I installed the filters. I'm not sure if this is coincidence, of if the meter rounds the readings up or down.

Great Unit, Makes water faster than 100gpd if your tap water is pretty clean and you are able to get the input temp around 77. Was able to make 30gal in 4 hours. I wish the instruction where written a little better and they also need a support number for questions. Seems their website is new and not too much info on it yet. All in all solid unit, $300 for 100gpd with pressure pump is a great deal.
