Works great!! Review by Kevin
Very fast shipping, and great customer support, thank you Aquacave! The Aquafuge ps 2 is an excellent product, it is very well made and easy to install. I had it up and running in no time, and the protein skimmer works much better than my old cyclone skimmer. It really cleaned up the appearance of the back wall in the tank and eliminated the micro bubbles my old skimmer would produce. I am very pleased with this product and would recommend it to anybody with a saltwater tank, reef or not. (Posted on 1/3/2012)
Good if no sump Review by K.C
I hook this it on a 55 gallons Fowlr and added cheatomorpha to reduce nitrate. 2 weeks later no trace on nitrate and the water parameter seems to be very stable. Minor fiddling on the PS cup for maximum efficiency. Make sure to balance the weight as to prevent pressure on the glass or acrylic tank. NOTE: the pump included is NOT a maxi-jet1200 but rather a RIO600. IMO, rio600 is less noisy than maxijet1200, and not much noise in the return if PS is on. BTW, make sure not to fill your main tank to the top because the refugium will backflow until it equalize. Hence, test the aquafuge when power are off. (Posted on 3/28/2009)
