    1. Great lights Review by Dean

These are great lights. I one of the questions I know I had when considering their purchase was, "How many do I need?"

Well.....one marine fusion strip will do a nice job of lighting your aquarium from a cosmetic standpoint and will be fine if you arent keeping coral. Its great, produces almost no heat and is energy efficient.

BUT....if youre keeping corals, one strip isnt going to cut it. I had one soft leather coral under one strip (probably 8-9 inches from the surface) and it hardly opened at all. So, I bought a second strip (also marine fusion) and that is one happy coral now. I also have so zoanthids that are thriving about 12 inches underwater.

So.....2 strips is okay for soft corals. Id bet that if you wanted to do hard corals, youd probably need another strip or two. (Posted on 12/15/2011)

    2. GREAT Review by jodyg

I love them. I wasn't sure how they were going to work but i can land a plane with one of these bad boyz. I don't care for the 8k, a little to yellow for me for they others are GREAT. I haven't tried them with the more light demanding corals yet but my buttons and star polyps LOVE IT. (Posted on 10/31/2011)

    3. The Best Light Ive Ever Used Review by erniegraham@msn.com

I installed 48" Marine Fusion spectrum in place of the T5 Actinics over my tank about 2 months ago. Before this, I had problems with Hair Alge and my corals would barely open. Since the installation my LPS corals open about three times there base size and the Hair Algae has completely disappeared. Also for the first time in three years, I have begun to see coraline algae growth. I now plan to replace the T5 10ks with the 12k Diamond White to see if I can begin keeping SPS corals. I really like the fact that these lights are supposed last five years and not loose light intensity. I believe this may be an economical and practical replacement for Metal Halides with out all the heat. I would recommend these lights to anyone looking to purchase new lighting for their reef. 4. small and compact Review by ktm4us6

needs to be higher watts, have it on a 55g planted aquarium, and would have to buy at-least three of these light for my planted tank, to compare to my power compact lighting. (Posted on 4/11/2011)
