i went a little crazy and got this skimmer for my 40 gallon tank and put it inside my 20 gallon high sump. THIS THING IS GREAT!!! its plug and play, pulls out a great amount of gunk so basically GET IT !!!! i give it 2 thumbs up (Updated on 9/12/2008.)

I have the G2 on my 70 gallon tank in a 29 gallon sump. After a couple of days of breaking in it has been pulling nasty gunk. It is one of the best bang for the buck skimmers on the market.
