Well, at first, i thought that the pump on this skimmer was going to be smaller, by judging the one on the picture. I get the skimmer and the pump is pretty huge. Its a quality pump, but it still looks a bit awkward in a tank if you don't have a sump. Other than that its a GREAT skimmer. As soon as i hooked it up it started making bubbles and from then on, it was collecting all the stuff that my tank didn't want. This is a great skimmer and i would recommend it to anyone who is looking for a HOB skimmer. Its Great. Simple as that.

Yes
Easy to install and start up.
There were no instructions in how to set up the skimmer for proper operation.
I posted a query at Reef Central and received a response on proper set up and adjustment.
My skimmer has been running for 2 1/2 weeks and appears to be doing the job it is designed to do.
