Recommends it to Friends:
Yes
The fan effectively cools the lighting hood on a 110 gallon tank with 260 watts of power compact lighting.
The fan does not shut all the way off, even when the lights are off.
The fan is slightly louder than I had hoped, but since this is the first time I have ever used a cooling fan, I don't have a good basis of comparison.
