This is a great controller for the price. The sensor cable could be a bit longer and it will click on and off about 5 times when it goes below the set temp, so it can get a little loud if you have it outside of your cabinet. I purchased mine as a backup to my JBJ true temp controller which is also great. The other nitpicky thing is it does not remember the set temp if the power goes out and defaults to 81 degrees. This is not a huge deal as the power rarely goes out these days and 81 is right in the safe range for most fresh water species.

This is a great controller, I had to replace my pro heat controller after 14 months due to the temperature jumping all over, and being inaccurate. I now have four different types of thermometers in my tank and this controller is accurate and worth the money!
