JBJ ATO Water Level Controller.
**** PRODUCT MANUAL ****
Tired of lifting heavy buckets to refill sumps or tanks due to evaporation?
There is finally a professional grade product that automates refilling evaporated water. The All-New A.T.O. (Automatic Top Off) device is the most advanced water level controller system on the market. Lifting heavy buckets and spilling water is now a thing of the past. Maintaining stable salinity and specific gravity are no longer a problem since the A.T.O. will refill as soon as the water level drops.
The A.T.O. will keep all salt levels at consistent parameters, ensuring an optimal environment for your tank inhabitants.
The A.T.O. is equipped with (2) float sensors that activate within seconds when your water level drops and automatically refills your sump or tank until it reaches your desired set point. Each float sensor has been designed with an exterior guard preventing snails & hermit crabs from attaching to the sensors.
Electronic Controller Module
Our state-of-the-art electronic controller allows for (2) modes of operation with a total of (3) different set up scenarios, allowing you more choices for installation for your unique set up. Our compact controller also incorporates a visible LED panel + our innovative Audible Signal alerts when in operation mode.
Your professional kit includes commercial grade "Linkable Brackets" that can easily be adjusted to meet your height requirements, and securely positions your float sensors. Many competing brands use inferior suction cups that are temporary that can lead to disastrous water spillage.
Pump Safety Protection
The A.T.O. automatically stops power to your return pump in your reservoir, in the event that your reservoir is low on water. This safety feature prevents pumps from running dry and failing.

weekend pass Review by dru234
With three reef tanks I found it difficult to get away for more then one or two nights at a time. The three auto top offs for the tanks allow a degree of freedom from lifting water every day, as well as maintaining a greater degree of stability in the salt water osmolarity. The corals themselves seem to be doing better. The sump levels are consistent with only a seven to eight mm. variation. So far the auto top off has proven reliable.Very happy with them. Set it and forget it! Review by firstname.lastname@example.org

Love it Review by
Love it, had to use both the sensors tried just using one but would have issues of pump light coming on with no power and having to reset it, after using both sensors it has not had a hiccup since. Using a MJ400 for a pump and working fine. (Posted on 5/26/2011)

JBJ ATO Water Level Control System Review by JamesWB
After using this product for sometime now I cant see how I managed without it .It takes the guess work out of keeping the water level at the optimum level in my tank and sump which intern keeps the protein skimmer working at its max.The ease of use and simplicity of setup makes this a must have for any person who has or will have an aquarium. Awesome Top Off Review by JWest
It is easy to setup and the float switches can be placed at any height you need them to be at. Another great thing is that there are so many different applications that this thing can handle. (Posted on 7/14/2010)
Great! Review by John
Best $80 investment Ive had so far on my tank setup. No more having to top off the water. Less worries in mind. Just make sure that your reservoir has water in it so your pump does not run dry. I would buy this if I were you. I am loving mine. (Posted on 6/1/2010)
Nice Review by mark
Would have had 5 stars, but the directions regarding the automatic shutdown of the pump are non-existent. Also, I had to mount the low level and high level alarms at the same level, or otherwise the ATO would tell the pump to run, only to automatically shut off after a few minutes. I think this will work. I still need to figure out how to override the automatic pump shutdown feature. (Posted on 3/30/2010)
Works great after tweaking Review by
The JBJ ATO worked great after some tweaking. I have a 20 gallon tank and I am using the AquaLifter along with the ATO.
The issue I original had was with the 3min 45sec factory float fail-safe safety feature. Everytime the float sensor would trigger the aqualifter, it was taking longer than 3min and 45sec to fill. As a result, the ATO would stop working and I would have to do a manual reset. I did not realize that there was a way to adjust the float fail-safe duration time since it was not part of the manual. If it wasn't for Google, I would have returned the product. For instructions on how to adjust the float fail-safe time duration visit the link below. It will save a lot of frustration. Great Product Review by Tom
Although the directions could be better, the electronics in this product keep the water level on a line I have drawn on my sump! Replacement RO water is drawn from a ten gallon tank reservoir equipped with a AZOO pump that is plugged in the ATO. Sensor A is in the sump and sensor B is in the reservoir. The ATO has a mode switch so you can change locations of the sensors. It is important when you mount the sensors to do so with the wire facing up or else the sensor indicator red lights on the ATO will remain lit. Once set up properly, the green power light remains lit and the only light to come on is an orange pump light. There is no sound when the pump light is lit. Pump is on barely a second at intervals throughout the day and night and my sump water level remains constant. Protein skimmer works better now and salinity is stabilized. All I have to do is fill the reservoir tank about once a week. (Posted on 5/25/2009)
Second one Review by Ray
This is the second one of these Ive picked up; this one for a frag grow-out aquarium. Works as advertised and keeps water level stable. East setup.
