It is our passion to provide innovative technologies and custom-designed filtration systems to the collaborative relationships we form with our customers. We continue to operate one of the world's largest solid-state extrusion facilities for the production of activated carbon filters. And though our reputation is built on the international success of KXT MATRIKX® Extruded Carbon, it is the collaboration with our customers that define our greatest innovations in new technologies and filtration systems. The company was originally formed in 1989 as a Limited Partnership between Exxon Chemical Corporation and KT Corporation. In 2007 Marmon Water LLC acquired the assets of KX Industries, LP, with the business going forward as KX Technologies LLC. In March 2008, Berkshire Hathaway Inc. acquired majority interest in The Marmon Group of companies.

    The KX Matrikx +CTO Carbon Block Filter 32-250-125-975. 2.5" × 9.75" is certified to reduce chlorine taste and odour from your drinking water. It delivers you with the best possible combination of meaningful innovation, useful features and lasting value.
    These filters are optimized for applications where they perform the role of both a sediment and activated carbon filter. The extrusion process allows the production of a carbon block with more carbon, but a lower pressure drop. This enables a MATRIKX CTO filter to deliver extended life while removing sediment, chlorine taste and odor and organic contaminants from water, aqueous solutions or suspensions. The MATRIKX CTO is also widely used in filtering organic solvents. The MATRIKX CTO KX Filter is ideal for use in residential and commercial water purification systems, food service, pre- and post-RO systems.
