Omega One Blood Worms are large and full-bodied. They are genuine blood worms, not mosquito larvae, which means their color enhancing ability is superb.

Use it for both the Fresh & Salt Planted Tanks Review by Robert
I don't like putting "chunks" of food in the tank so I run the container's contents through a chopper to make sawdust sized pieces which the fish can eat easily. I mix Omega One Tubiflex Worms, dried Shrimp, dried Blood Worms, and dried Brine Shrimp, all chopped to sawdust pieces, together and I mix with Omega One flake. I alternate with pure flake and this dried live food mix and the fish sure go for it. I hear gulping and clicking sounds as they go after it floating on the water. Its gone in no time. They definitely like it better in small sawdust pieces than to have to pick at a large chunk that gets water soaked and ends up laying on the substrate. If I didn't limit what I put in I think both my salt and fresh water fish would pig out. Nice thing is that with one blend I can feed both the fresh & salt planted tanks and don't need specialty foods for each tank. (Posted on 1/20/2016)
