Yes
I think these are just a lighter micron pad than what I use in my filters but they sure are handy. I like trying little things. But I never would have thought of using them for cleaning but boy, I really like them. I keep one by every tank now.

These pads are great for getting into tank corners and other tight spaces. Also perfect for cleaning the tops of the lids and around the filters.
