Yes
Upgraded to this skimmer on a 75 gallon SPS system with sump and frag tank and it blows the previous skimmer out of the water. Great skimmer for a great price. Pulls dark thick skimmate. Easy to set up and clean. My next skimmer purchase will be an octopus also.

Yes
Mine is the older unit with the larger union at the neck. This is a phenomenal skimmer equal much more expensive skimmers. With a few simple mods this skimmer pulled phenomenal amounts of skimmate out of my water. Easy to set up and tune.
