An integrated removable bubble plate to help reduce turbulance within the skimmer which helps build a dense head of foam.
Extra-wide plumbing and necks in the design to allow for more air flow.
Wedge pipe output which allows you to adjust the skimmer and have greater control of adjustments compared to using ball valves.
Improved venturi design for the Sicce PSK-2500 pump makes for simple use for protein skimmer pumps.
Features a soft pin wheel impeller as well as a mesh wheel impeller to allow hobbyist the option of which one they prefer to use.
Up to 35scfh to 37scfh of air pull using soft pin wheel impeller and up to 40scfh to 50scfh using mesh wheel impellers.

Draws less than 30 watts of electricity per pump.
Quick release neck on the collection cup - requires 1/2 inch of clearance to remove the cup.
All models below are in sump skimmers only, external models will be available later this year.

After reading all the reviews on different skimmers, this one showed to have the best review. Right after I turned it on, it was skimming like i have never seen before. its running on a 210 gallon tank. if your going to get a skimmer, and for the money, this is the one to get.

This skimmer is very well built. It is producing foam like I have never seen. The junk it is pulling out is amazing. Best money I have ever spent. I recommend using the mesh. (Updated on 1/7/2010.)

Nice product! I have been wanting to upgrade my skimmer for a couple of years.
When I asked around reefer websites, this is the recomendation that produces the most bubbles and collects the most waist for the dollar.
Similar skimmers (size wise)are more expensive w/o the pump included.
This thing is a little monster! Heads up, you will see a change in your water evaporation. Get your topoff water ready!

Built very well construction wise and cranking out a lot of bubbles. The unit comes with two different impellers plus a piece of mesh. Not sure how to use the mesh and don't want to just stuff it on the pin wheel? Will have to ask on how to use. Other skimmers with the mesh are supposed to put out even smaller and more bubbles.
Looks to be very high end materials and the pump is small and quiet with the muffler that is really well made also. The closest model like it would be the ATI line at twice the cost. very similar.
