Took a little time to get it dialed in, the adjustment is a little sensitive. But once it was dialed in it has been doing a great job of dry skimming. It is also much more quiet than I imagined, which was a plus.

had it for a few weeks. replaced my aquac remora. it was between this and a bubble magus. due to the 10" water reqs of the magus, I had to get the octo.
does a good job dry skimming. pulls out a lot of stuff.
no regrets so far.....especially at this price range.
