Yes
This has a lot more head pressure than competing pumps of the same size. Using for protein skimmer. A little noisier than mag-950 but way more pressure and power. A little bigger case size wise. 93 watts which is competitive for the competition. Over the long haul will have to wait and see. mags hold up forever pretty much and will see what this does.
All reviews and advertisements said 17 of head which is far above the others of this type and size but on the box it said 15 which is still higher.(typical)
So far so good.....
