Excellent! Review by JAMES M
Have been running on 225 gal. reef with 36 gal refugium for six months. After short break in period it is one of the best skimmers I have owned. Highly recommended. (Posted on 2/21/2014)
Inconsistent Review by Ryan
I purchased this unit in June of 2013 because it had all the characteristics/ ratings/ and performance that I was looking for. However, starting the unit up was a bit off as the controller showed full power, but the pump seemed to cycle from an almost idle to slightly more than idle inside the skimmer. It then started working, but would go from skimming a moderate amount for a few days to overflowing and filling my waste bucket. Then in Feb of 2014 the unit stopped working all together and I’ve had to send it back. This does save on space having the pump inside, but it is a HUGE pain to clean as you have to almost completely disassemble the whole unit. I would not recommend this skimmer. (Posted on 2/13/2014)
This thing rocks Review by cliff
I put this on my medium stocked 180 gallon tank to prep it for an upgrade to 270 gallons. This thing pulls out some gunk! It filled the collection cup in a week. I left my previous skimmer (Reeflo Orca 200) on the tank to see the competition. The Orca got shutdown in 2 days. (Posted on 8/1/2013)
