best flow for the money

Best flow for the money. My personal recommendation is to use a maxijet 900 or less with the black prop. Use with a wavemaker has various results - Of the three I have used on a wavemaker (red sea wavemaster pro), one wore out in a couple months (the manufacturer replaced it for me), one lasted a year, and one is a year and a half old and still going strong.

Lots of flow for cheap

I love the Sure Flow pump mod kits. They need a little tweaking sometimes to get them to run noise free but once you know what to do to fix that they run very well.
They can move a lot of water for very little money.
As far as cavitation the shroud needs to be attached a certain way and placed far enough below the water line to avoid cavitation.
Go on You Tube and search Sure Flow mod for a video I did on them for some tips.

It is worth the small price you have to pay. But falls way short of power and has a tendency to cavitate.
