The Tidal filters can be set up in seconds by hanging them right on any open side of your aquarium.
HOB filters will add flow to your tank encouraging gas exchange while trapping suspended detritus for removal. The adjustable intake depth lets you create the perfect motion throughout the tank to sweep particulates into the filter for removal. With the addition of pre-seeded bio-media you can also instantly add biological filtration and prevent the buildup of toxic by-products. The generous media basket area also allows for the use of chemical filtration such as activated carbon which can be useful for removing medications or general water polishing, making this a very compact and versatile filtration solution for small to medium-sized aquariums.

Really good HOB filter
I bought this to replace a Fluval 407 canister filter on my saltwater tank. The 407 is a very good canister filter, but I wanted to make cleaning easier, and it is. With the media basket it is very easy to swap out / clean the media. It is also quiet. The two drawbacks are that the surface skimming does not work and that it has a significant footprint inside the aquarium, because the pump is in the tank. I also have the Tidal 55 in another tank for about two years and it has worked flawlessly, so I am confident the 110 will do the same.

Trying Seachem Tidal 110 Aquarium Power Filter for the first time. I like the media box which you can arrange the media to what you need. You don't have to use any specified media like some brands. It has the pump inside the aquarium making the priming in it's self. Product Details are exactly as they say. Only con is that you have to turn it off during a water change. It will let you know when it's too low by the pump making a clattering and stop movement of water. Love it so far.
