This is my second Vertex skimmer and I am definitely sold on these. I had the IN180 first on my 180 gallon and it was awesome. Real quiet, pulled great gunk, and very simple to use and adjust. I down sized tanks so I sold it and got the IN80 for my 60 gal. After about a week of break in its now producing great skimmate and is as quiet as the IN180. Ive had quite a few skimmers and these are easily the best bang for the buck. The construction is solid and simple. Highly recommended!

At first i thought it was junk. Kept overflowing. the manufacturer said it was something in the water so after a couple big water changes I'm getting some nasty stuff and emptying the cup every 2 days. Give it 4 stars because it isn't all that Silent. That's all I hear about Resun pumps anyway.
