Yes
Like my title says, if you have an MP40W (or MP40) you will need to have a spare wet side assembly on hand for when your old one needs replacing. This is a wear item according to EcoTech marine as the bearing will wear out over time and require to be rebuilt. Having a spare wet side allows you to take your old one out of the tank, send it to EcoTech for repairs and still have the pump remain in operation by replacing the old one with your spare.
