- Hello. On this bulkhead, the insert fitting appears to be threaded both inside and outside. I am assuming the inside threads are 3/4" NPT? If so, what are the outside threads? Basically, I am wondering if an FPT elbow can thread directly onto the outside of the of the threads protruding to the dry side of the tank. Thank you!
- Ron,
Inside threads are 3/4". Outside thread is not compatible with any of the PVC fittings. It only fits bulkhead nut. - Do you find this question helpful? Yes No

No front hex. Review by Sidneyp
Product Rating: This line of Pentair bulkhead needs a front hex like most commercial brands. I installed it for a water storage container for a float valve and hose bib. There’s no room for a wrench inside and had to be wrenched from the outside round surface, marring the surface. It never leaked though. (Posted on 2/26/2020)

Great product. Review by James
Product Rating: These bulkheads fit perfect in the size hole they are intended for. You don't have to wrench on it hard to make a good seal either and for me that's a plus. (Posted on 8/3/2014)

By far the cheapest bulkheads I was able to find. So far (three weeks installed) no issues. (Posted on 1/25/2012)
