I don't bother with any other brand
I've owned over a dozen heaters over the years. While I would always recommend running a heater on a separate temperature controller, I've never had a Jager heater stick on or take on water. When they have failed, it's always been the element from old age. No frills, no drama, that's what I want in a heater, and Jager delivers.
