AquaScape Construction Aquarium Epoxy 4 oz. - Coraline Algae

A unique new product from Europe which allows you to glue your live rock and coral fragments into place within your aquarium that cures to the color (mauve) of coralline algae making it blend in almost immediately.

This extremely versatile 2 part underwater epoxy will set and adhere to wet aquarium rocks, live sps corals, clam shells and dead coral branches. It will stick to glass, plastic, rock, metal, and rubber pond liners and can be sculptured and set in the same form in which it is molded.

When used properly it is totally inert and can be used safely in conjunction with corals or fish within the aquarium. Also available in slate gray for marine or freshwater aquariums and ponds.

    Great product

Order this product for two uses. Built a new aquarium and used it to hold dry rock together that would later blend in with coralline algae, the second was to secure coral underwater in an existing tank. Worked great in both wet and dry applications.

    GREAT COLOR

GREAT COLOR BUT NOT FAST SETTING OR AS STRONG AS OTHERS ON THE MARKET. I LIKE USING THE GREY APOXY FIRST AND COLORING OVER IT WITH THIS ONE.

    Mega HOLD

Posted by Drew on Feb 8th 2017

This epoxy is the real deal. I was able to create over over hangs with rocks weighing 4-5 lbs. Microwave like the instructions say for a easier application. I added small bits of rubble while the it was drying to hide the epoxy as much as possible. Even though it's a purply color it stands out next to coralline.

Better then all the ones I have used in the past. Big plus is it doesn't stink like some of the others. Works great.

    Not bad

    Posted by aussie_chicago on May 21st 2011

Was surprised to find 2 separate sticks in 1 box, but once you get the hang of it, it bonds together well. They suggest heating the product in a microwave, I would also highly recommend it also. I put it in for about 10sec to warm it up, much more pliable and easier to mix the 2 parts together. So far everything has stuck, seems to work better than a lot of other epoxy putty.

    Works as advertised

Great stuff, works as advertised. Corals don't seemed bothered by it. Tip, read instructions on how to use microwave to accelerate curing. Works much better!!

    Works Great

Posted by Calvin T on Feb 22nd 2009

good epoxy, I have used the other brand name (cant remember) but it didn't stick to live rocks. This one does. Don't use too much because you don't need that much of it once its set. Holds very well.

    The best epoxy available

Posted by Marine Mike on Jan 29th 2009

I have tried several of the available epoxys on the market. This one is definitely the best available. It is sticky when first formed, offers ample working time, and holds the item in place once in the tank. Once cured it holds very well, very tough to remove. Color looks as natural as epoxy can, not far off from coralline algae.

The absolute BEST Epoxy for Aquascape/Corals

Posted by Compguy on Dec 11th 2008

PLEASE, everybody listen to me, I have tried all popular epoxies, from Holdfast to Aquastick, both of those did absolutely nothing for me, and one even came with the skin of the stick already hardened, actually ordered two of them and they both were the same. DD has the BEST, comes like it should and holds great. Don't waste your time, purchase this epoxy, you will not be disappointed!
