Bubble Magus ACS180 Skimmer Cleaning Head

Aquacave is the only retailer I could find that sold Bubble Magus skimmer neck cleaners, and they definitely had this unit shipped and delivered quickly. <br><br>The neck cleaner itself worked as expected out of the box, however after a few minutes the rotational motor driving the cleaner got stuck and stopped rotating. I quickly figured that the motor attachment was rubbing against the skimmer lid, dismantled the unit (which was an easy task) and Dremeled the lid to give the motor a bit more space to move and then, reassembled. Now the unit works perfectly!<br><br>The unit itself is made out of quality materials, attaching and adjusting the wiper blade took a couple attempts but works really well. Operationally, there is a hum generated by the unit that’s silenced once the aquarium stand doors are closed. Overall, I’m very satisfied. If it weren’t for the need to widen the hole for the motor in skimmer lid, I would have given 5 stars.
