    Works for my application

    Posted by Allexx46 on Jan 9th 2020

I have used this for over a year in my 40 gal Sump. It is stationed right in front my return pump inlet. Nothing escapes from the pump. All CO2 goes into my 165 main tank from two outlets into a down draft of water and the CO2 rarely makes it to the top. If is noisy? it is quieter than the pump so for me not a problem. I control all CO2 with an Apex including this. No signs of clogging but the sump is dark. I use mineral oil I’m my bubble counter an it has not impacted the diffuser at all. I have just installed and forgot about it. All equipment should be like this! I will buy it again.

    Recommended product with poor directions

Posted by Gale on Dec 28th 2019

The diffuser seems to work quite effectively. Despite reviews on You-Tube and others sources which have reported poor noise levels, the unit I have works almost silently. I have it installed vertically with the diffusion chamber at the bottom of the unit. The directions that accompany the product are particularly poor for anyone who doesn't read what appears to be Chinese. I am still not sure what adjusting the diffusion chamber one way or other according to the markings on the side does. I have set it to it's max marking assuming that it indicates highest level of diffusion, however, I could be wrong; it may simply refer to water flow. Overall based in the performance I am getting from the diffuser, I recommend this product.
