    BN plecos are at home

Posted by Nels on Sep 16th 2017

Had the clay pinched off tubes and some other huts, but within 10 minutes, the males were all over this one. Had eggs in two of them within a week. This one is the BN pleco equivalent of an enchanted cottage.

Ok, but not really for me

Posted by Toby on Jun 10th 2016

I ordered these thinking they would be great breeding huts for my cichlids. Not that I need them, my cichlids breed like crazy. I found these to be to small for most of my cichlids. If you have medium or larger fish, they will not fit in these. They are to small. If your fish are on the small size, then they would be ok. The huts are clay, like a clay pot, but thinner. They seem fragike, but I have dropped a couple and they didn't break. They also stack well with other rocks. Shipping was fast and none were broke. They did back order 1 and I didn't know until I looked at the packing slip, but it was no big deal for me.
