DI Resin, Mixed Bed Color Changing, 1.1 lbs.

ResinTech MBD-30 is a one-to-one volume mixture of CG8-H (a hydrogen form amber colored strong acid cation resin) and SBG1-OH-ID (a blue colored hydroxide form type 1 strong base anion resin). MBD-30 utilizes a pH indicator dye in the anion component that changes color from deep blue to amber as the resin exhausts. ResinTech MBD-30 is intended for use in applications where a color indication of resin exhaustion is desired. MBD-30 is supplied ready to use with the cation component in the hydrogen form and the anion component in the hydroxide form.

Vacuum packed for maximum freshness. (Standard refillable 10" cartridge contains approx. 15 oz. of media).

Great resin for the $$!!!!! I have a maxima 60gpd Hi S filter and let me tell you, you will save $$, honestly it doesn't last as long as the Kent media does but at this price it out exceeds it!!!! Buy a rechargeable canister and a few months of this media and and you will come out ahead. I have a tds meter and as long as it is calibrated right you can watch the meter and recharge when needed. I have a 156 gallon tank and my kent media lasted about4-5 weeks at 50-60$ per recharge, this media is about 12$ per recharge for every 3-4 weeks. So the Kent last a week longer (who hoo)but $60 vs $12? IT'S A NO BRAINER GO THIS ROUTE!!!!!!! (Posted on 7/13/2012)

This was the first time I have ordered DI resin from Aquacave and I will surely repeat this purchase. The resin has lasted longer than other resins I have purchased from other reputable companies and is the perfect size to refill my 10 inch canister on my 75gpd system. Thanks aquacave!
