E.S.V. B-Ionic Seawater System 100 Gallon Salt Mix w/ Measuring Supplies

Replace your dry synthetic seawater blend solutions with E.S.V. B-Ionic Seawater System 100 Gallon Salt mix with measuring supplies from Pet Store. This product will solve most of the problems which pet owners encounter when using dry blends in their aquarium or tank. For instance, your pet container may have considerable chemical variations from time to time as the dry blend solution may not be fully homogenous. So, to solve that, the seawater system will provide two dominant salts which will pre-dissolve trace elements.

Furthermore, the product includes Sodium Chloride that is ultra-low heavy metal and Magnesium Sulfate that has a USP grade as the system`s dry components. These chemicals have been subjected to three-phase purification, which when pre-dissolved in the liquid components of the system. This will then significantly reduce the contaminants inside the container.

Moreover, it is easy to prepare batches of E.S.V. B-Ionic Seawater System 100 Gallon Salt with Measuring Supplies. You can make one within 10 minutes without giving adverse effects. Plus, batches made from this product are safe to apply in the aquarium and will not cause irritations to your pets.

A unique solution to many of the problems associated with all dry synthetic seawater blends.

Problem:
All dry blends may not be homogenous resulting in considerable chemical variations not only from batch to batch but also from within the same container. Aggravating this further, humidity contamination during storage can result in localized precipitation reactions.

Solution:
B-Ionic® Seawater System avoids these problems by providing the two dominant salts in our formulation in separate containers. All other major, minor, and trace elements are pre-dissolved in a highly concentrated two-component liquid system. These dry and liquid components can easily be measured for any size batch of synthetic seawater.

Problem:
It is now recognized that most reagent-grade salts can contain contaminants (trace metals, etc.) at levels that may inhibit the growth of some algae species from low nutrient environments (oligotrophic) such as coral reefs.

Solution:
B-Ionic® Seawater System addresses this issue by providing ultra-low heavy metal Sodium Chloride (max. allowable less than half max. allowable for reagent grade sodium chloride) and USP grade Magnesium Sulfate as the dry components of the system. In addition, all other chemicals pre-dissolved in our liquid components are subject to our three-phase purification process resulting in significant lowering of contaminants, including phosphate.

Problem:
Many all dry blends take excessive time to completely dissolve. The addition of newly mixed batches to the aquarium can cause irritation to inhabitants upon exposure to non-dissolved salt micro-particles.

Solution:
B-Ionic® Seawater System avoids this problem by providing all of the slower dissolving ingredients in a pre-dissolved solution form. Batches can be used within 10 minutes of preparation with no adverse effects providing initial RO and/or DI water contains sufficient dissolved oxygen.

Great for mid-size to pico reefs

The ability to make virtually identical batches of water has let me have great looking corals in everything from a 5 gallon to a 55 gallon aquarium. It has even let me keep colorful sps, lps, and gorgonians in a 5 gallon aquarium.

I've been using it for years now. Best salt available.

Mixes CLEANLY with ZERO residue left in your mixing container. I've not had issues ONCE with this salt in the 5+ years I've been using it. It is more expensive than others, and, it can be kind of a hassle to mix it from components, but, it is ALWAYS consistent. You will not have to worry about alkalinity, calcium, and magnesium levels fluctuating wildly between batches of water mixed from the same package, which happens all the time with salts that are sold in a bucket with all the components already in the one powder. Settlement happens, folks, and, it will affect the levels of the vital components and trace elements from one batch to the next from the same exact container. One bucket of the "single bucket" types of salt can vary widely from another bucket of the same salt as well. This is NEVER an issue with the ESV, unless you can't measure components out correctly for some reason (I'd recommend getting a digital scale and using the BY WEIGHT mixing instructions instead of the BY VOLUME method for this salt).
